At Tailor Made Physiotherapy we have the ability to cast undisplaced fractures of the forearm and hand. Using the latest technology in casting, we are able to mold casts to wrists of any size. EXOS is a new technology that allow splints to be reformed and adjusted, they are waterproof and can be loosened to allow water to flush through, avoiding those smelly dry wrists at the end of 6 weeks.
Research has shown that EXOS braces are able to stabilise undisplaced fractures just as well as your traditional fiberglass cast.
